Website & Email Campaigns for a Local Restaurant

Mario needed a website and a way to email his customers without the messages ending up in spam.

Website Email Marketing Small Business

Mario runs Casa del Pollo, a restaurant in Lake Oswego. He needed two things: a website where people could find his menu and get in touch, and a way to email his customers about specials and events.

The website was the easy part. A clean design with his photos, the full menu, and a contact form. It works well on phones, loads fast, and makes it obvious how to find the restaurant or call in an order.

The email piece was more interesting. Mario had tried a couple of the big email platforms before, but they were either too expensive for what he needed or too complicated. And his messages kept landing in spam.

So I built him a simple email tool. It lives online, so he can use it from his phone, his laptop, wherever. He writes up his message (or pastes in a design he likes), previews it, sends a test to himself, and then sends it out to his customer list. The tool handles the behind-the-scenes stuff, like sending at a pace that email providers are comfortable with and making sure his domain is set up so Gmail, Yahoo, and the rest actually trust his messages.

He can see everything he’s sent, add or remove people from his list, and every email has an unsubscribe link so people can opt out easily. Nothing complicated. It just works.

If this sounds like your situation: a lot of small businesses need exactly this. A solid website and a way to stay in touch with customers. If you’ve been putting off your website, or you’re paying for an email service that’s more than you need, I can probably help you get something simpler and cheaper in place.
